Our History

Our company Pink Base Oil has been in this trading business since 1990 and we export about 100 to 150 containers of base oil in flexi bags, and reconditioned drums to the global market monthly. 80% of our products are recycled base oil and 20% are virgin products. And 90% of our shipments are in flexi. We are among the top 5 exporters of recycle base oil in the Middle east.

Our Vision

“Our company is intrinsically connected to the growing global desire and efforts to conserve and recycle resources, which in turn helps combat climate change. Our vision and mission are perfectly aligned with the increasing focus on green and sustainable solutions aimed at preserving and reusing global resources.”

Contractual Agreements and Documentation

Ensuring stringent quality control in the production and export of recycled base oils specifically SN500, SN150, and SN350 is vital for maintaining product integrity and fostering long-term business relationships. Our company, with extensive experience in exporting high-quality recycled base oils, is committed to providing guidelines that prevent quality concerns and align with market preferences.

Establishing clear terms at the beginning of any transaction is essential. All aspects should be agreed upon before the mutual signing of the Proforma Invoice (PI) or contract. Once signed, the PI or contract becomes binding, and altering previously settled terms can lead to complications. Therefore, any disagreements should be resolved prior to finalizing the agreement.

For each purchase or contract, we require the following essential documents and materials:

  • Signed Proforma Invoice/Contract: Formalizes the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Signed Specification Sheet or Certificate of Analysis (COA): Provides detailed information on the product's quality and specifications.
  • Product Visuals: A photo demonstrating the oil's color and clarity, and a video showing the oil being poured from one container to another to confirm its quality.
  • Packaging Images: Photos of the reconditioned drums designated for the shipment.

Additionally, we can collaborate with evaluators such as SGS or Bureau Veritas (BV) to further enhance your confidence in our products.

Oil Quality Parameters

The quality of recycled base oils is determined by several critical factors:

  • Color: Lighter-colored oils are generally preferred in the market. For instance, SN150 should have a maximum color rating of 1.5, SN300 up to 2.0, and SN500 up to 2.5. Significant deviations can affect market value and may result in claims.
  • Appearance and Clarity: The oil should be clear and free from contaminants. Cloudiness or murkiness, often caused by inadequate cleaning of storage containers or poor-quality reconditioned drums, is unacceptable.
  • Viscosity: Adherence to agreed viscosity specifications at both 40°C and 100°C is crucial, following API guidelines. Deviations can impact performance and customer satisfaction.

Packaging and Transportation

Proper packaging is essential to maintain oil quality during transportation. We utilize reconditioned drums that are thoroughly cleaned to prevent contamination. This approach not only ensures product integrity but also facilitates easier transportation and retail trading, especially in markets lacking extensive tank storage facilities.

Market Considerations

Economically challenged regions often prefer recycled base oils due to cost considerations. However, these markets still demand products that meet controlled specifications. By adhering to stringent quality control measures, we ensure that our recycled base oils meet market demands and regulatory standards, thereby supporting long-term business relationships free from quality concerns.

In conclusion, our commitment to quality control in the production and export of recycled base oils SN500, SN150, and SN350 is unwavering. By following the outlined guidelines and maintaining open communication, we aim to build and sustain partnerships that are both successful and free from quality-related issues.
